Journal – 9 weeks – a grape

Week 9 – 23 to 29 of June 2020

Weight: 64 kilos
The crazy cravings: gelato love!! Yogurt. Maccas cheeseburgers.

I was visiting a doctor that week on the 24th of June.

(Week nine writing this on Saturday 25th of July, 13 weeks + 5 days)

I was feeling much better this week. I had my doctor visit and asked all my questions. The doctor laughed at me warmly for how prepared I was. I wondered was it too soon to go to the hospital for a maternity ward tour. He said it’s okay to go see if they were also happy for it, and he was happy that I was putting on weight (it’s weird after all these years to now see that as a positive). I’d added another 1 to 1.5 kilos, so it’s good I’m eating and keeping down food.

Going out is okay. Funny keeping it a secret though! So much is happening in my body, but noone can see!

But good that a few people know like Caroline, she’s such a big support and keeps things very straightforward and frank. We also at this point had told Mum and Dad (my mum and dad). Mum is your Nanna and Dad is your Grandpa little one.

And! Auntie Joan, Bruce, who’s going to be your grandfather (your Dad’s dad). Margaret (your nanny, or Nana, name undecided but definitely your dad’s mum!).. Emily, Meiky, Cat,, Isabelle, Lauren, Cuzzy Bill, Uncle Ross, Stacy, Gillian, Carolyn, Jen. Allison. Haha, Sophie!
Ok so that’s a fair few!

But I need the support and it’s my own news to share, because it’s me who’s going through all these changes right now and I’m glad to be able to share it with these people.

On 26th of June I did a card reading for myself and got three cards, but the third is the future and it talked about infinite blessings.

I wrote it in my daily journal, but I want to write it here too!

“Loving energy is surrounding you.”

“Count your blessings and know that love is around you.”

“This life may not be exactly as you anticipated but be sure to look for your miracles.”

And you my little one, are our miracle.

This year has changed things dramatically. But I’ve been so able to accept it and let go of so much stuff from the past. We got our perfect wedding. We didn’t get our party yet and our honeymoon has to wait but instead we are getting you! And what a lovely little treat you are.

I wrote “this baby is going to have a life of love and adventure. I see abundance for all of us, and I know we’ve got this.”

We went to Mt Tambourine for the weekend and it was like our first baby moon. I was still unwell but able to enjoy it and nice to be in a different surroundings for a change.

  1. Hey Emma!!

Your emails are always a tear jerker for me.

This is beautiful and I thank you for sharing your experience.

I love your perception in this entry. One of adventure and counting your blessings. Your card readings are on point and such a lovely foundation for you to lean on when the days feel hard.

    Sending LOVE to you xx
